Wonderful Annemarie Davidson green gold enamel dish. Davidson produced enamel plates and giftware in Sierra Madre, CA from the 1950s up until recently(?). She also appeared in the celebrated exhibition Painting with Fire: Masters of Enameling in America, 1930-1980.
This simple pattern has gold lines radiating from the center of the bowl which is a verde-brown in color.
Measures 7 1/2″ across in diameter and is in good used condition. Has some heavy crazing marks radiating throughout in the glass and two knocks to the enamel on the edge. Still a beautiful enamel suitable for display in your house. Marked on back with a partial gold sticker reading “Annemarie Davidson handcrafted enamels Sierra Madre, California”, along with her conjoined “AD” mark under the enamel.
