Unusual creamer from Bennington Potters, in a sort of teal-gray, speckled glaze. The matte glaze color is somewhat different than in the photos, the color is darker and more grayish. We believe that this was one of David Gil’s designs, but we haven’t seen this exact shape of creamer for Bennington yet. The spout of the pitcher looks very different in that it’s down-turned. Other than that quirky spout, we’ve seen a few Bennington creamers that look very much like this one. It also has a typical bumped handle that is designed for double finger gripping.
Stamped on bottom but the marking is hard to read – though it definitely includes the spark / hand mark. The condition is pretty good, with no cracks or chips. There is a little white glaze drip that occurred during manufacturing on the side of the creamer. You can see this on the 2nd photo.
Creamer measures about 3.75″ tall, 3″ wide at base, 2.5″ wide at mouth.
