Bennington Cups / Saucers
Tagged with: benningtonceramicscupdavid gilyusuke aida

Nice set of three (3) cups and saucers from Bennington Potters, in a white splotch pattern on white – believe this is sometimes referred to as “White Agate”.

We believe that the cups were designed by David Gil, while the saucers were designed by Yusuke Aida. Bennington focused heavily on cooperative designs, so it’s entirely likely this was the case.

Cups are stamped on bottom with a newer Bennington mark, but with no designer information. Saucers are marked “1627 ya” which refers to a design by Aida. In excellent condition, with no cracks or chips but some occasional light crazing.

Mugs measure about 3.75″ wide and 2.5″ tall. Saucers measure about 6.25″ wide.

We have several other pieces in this color combination. Please see the Bennington Potters tag for more items.
