Lovely Bing & Grondahl creamer from Denmark, in the “Falling Leaves” pattern. Creamer features handpainted gray and brown leaf motifs on a light blue background. From the backstamp, we believe this creamer dates from 1952-1957 – it reads “B&G Kjobenhavn Made in Denmark 95″. We’re uncertain of the designer or decorator, though there’s a ink mark and inmold marking to the bottom rim.
In good condition, but there’s a small manufacturing firing error pinpoint out the outside – it shows up as a small brown mark next to the main leaf (see photo). The inside wall where that mark is has crackled a bit, though it feels smooth – please see the last photo. We’ve reduced the price a bit because of the flaw.
Measures about 3 1/4″ tall and 4 1/4″ from spout to handle.
