Lovely California Cleminsons “Caltempo” covered jar and two candlesticks. We haven’t been able to find out which pattern this is – it is different than the popular “Fish-Fin” pattern, though the color scheme is similar. Pink and gray handpainted designs on these midcentury ceramics.
They’re in great shape for the most part – the main issue is a large flake in the glaze near the base of one of the candleholders – this was sadly done by the Goodwill where we bought this set at. They had taped the candleholders together and then knocked them so that the chip happened. Both the covered jar and candle holders have some crazing on inside and out.
Marked on the bottom of the jar with “Caltempo” and “M4″. Candlesticks are also marked on bottom with what looks like a letter and number, but it’s difficult to tell what’s written.
Covered jar measures about 5.75″ tall and 5″ at widest. Candlesticks measure about 2.25″ tall and 4.75″ x 3.75″ wide.
