Modern elephant figurine or paperweight designed by Gunnar Cyren for Dansk Designs. A selection of these beautifully crafted animals are still being produced by Dansk. The elephant is quite heavy, being silverplate over zinc. Marked on bottom with “Dansk Designs Japan Gunnar Cyren”.

The elephant measures about 2 1/4″ tall 2 1/4″ long and 1.5″ wide. While there is no major damage on the piece, the metal is tarnished and has a light pitting in places. Because of the damage, we’ve marked this one down in price a bit.
