Three (3) lovely mod set of plastic footed cups by David Douglas. These are off-white in color and have a green and blue floral star decoration on one side of the cup. We’re curious about the origins of these tumblers – we believe them to be 70s vintage items.
David Douglas is a bit of a mystery himself, much like the Georges Briard name. We’ve come across the name most often on Pyrex carafes and other glassware, but we also these type of plastic items made out of something called “Accalac“.
In excellent vintage condition – the plastic only has a tiny bit of wear at certain places. Cups measure 3 1/8 inches in diameter and 4 3/4″ tall. Bottom of the plastic reads “Designed by David Douglas Pat Pend Made of Genuine Accalac”.
