Nice looking Digsmed glass cheese dome and striped bread board. This was produced in Denmark, we’re unsure of the date, but likely 1970s or later. Unusual to find one with its original sticker intact on the glass dome. The company was well known for producing wood serving items and accessories. Often, the wood used was teak, but we think this is some other type of wood. The alternating striped wood design is typical of the company, however.
Cheese dome measures about 6 1/2 inches tall and 9 1/2 inches wide at the handles. In great condition, with original foil Digsmed sticker and marking on board bottom reading “Digsmed 594 Denmark”. Glass dome has one noticeable scratch to the side. Wooden board has a bit of wear to the handle and one deeper nick. Would make a great serving dish at your next party.
