Large circular handmade ashtray, attributed to Doyle Lane. Yellow glaze with brown speckles throughout. Lane was originally from New Orleans, but studied and worked in Los Angeles. We haven’t been able to conclusively say this is his work, but it is marked. This ashtray looks quite a bit different than other studio pieces we’ve seen. We would appreciate it if any knowledgable collectors might have more information as to whether this is indeed from him.

In good vintage condition with no major damage. Handwritten mark on bottom with “Doyle Lane” in all caps letters.

Ashtray measures about 8 3/4″ across and 1 1/2″ tall.
