A lovely dark green enamel bowl from Emalox, a Norwegian company that made various aluminum kitchenware items with bright colored enamels. They probably produced from the 1950s up until the 1980s.
This small bowl is typical of the style you’ll see from Emalox, with the entire bowl enameled inside and out, with an exposed rim. Most Emalox isn’t marked on the actual bowl – the use of stickers was the only way they were identified. This one has the original foil diamond shaped sticker on the bottom, reading “Emalox Norway”.
In good condition with some minor scuffs to exterior, but interior has at least 2 places of wear where the protective coating has come off – the actual paint has not come off. Bowl measures about 4″ wide and 1 1/4″ tall.
