Sleek and elegant salt and pepper shakers by Foley. We’re uncertain of the origins of this company – some say it’s Foley Manufacturing from Minnesota, but there are quite a few different companies with that name. We think that they might be the same company that made those hand cranked food mills.
Regardless, these are wonderful modern stainless steel shakers, most likely made in the 1960s. They have an interesting “S” and “P” font engraved on the top of the shakers, with holes running around the perimeter. Marked on the bottom “© Foley” in script. They have their original plastic stoppers which are a bit worn.
Shakers measure about 5 1/2 inches tall and 1 7/8 inches wide at top. In excellent vintage condition with some fine scratches on both shakers. The “Salt” shaker has a few minor dings to the top rim, but overall these are in great shape.
