Two (2) fantastic mid-century Glidden Pottery green plates with a wonderful abstract fish design. We aren’t certain about the pattern name or designer for this line, though some have said it may be a Fong Chow design. The hand-painted fish features two back to back “Pisces-style” fish in a lighter green on teal green speckled glaze. We’ve heard that this line was shown on the I Love Lucy show and may date from the early 40s to late 50s.
Plate shape is a wavy with round corners. Marked on reverse with “Glidden 410″. Both plates are in excellent condition. Some minor nicks and wear to the surface but overall in great shape. Would be a nice addition to your Glidden collection – or perhaps you collect this line.
Plates measures about 8 1/4″ by 7 1/2″.
