Wonderful little dark blue speckled creamer or sake pourer from Heath Ceramics. We’re uncertain what line this item is from, but have seen the glaze called “Moonstone” sometimes. We’re also uncertain of the original function, but believe it could be part of a sake set. This is from the well known California company originally started by Edith Heath that has produced ceramics for over 60 years. More information on the Potteries of California website.
The pourer is a deep cobalt blue in color, and seems to have some sort of banding that we aren’t sure was intentional or not in manufacturing. Cup measures about 3.5″ tall and 1.5″ in diameter. In great vintage condition with no cracks or chips. The only wear seems to be a tiny pinhead glaze pop or nick near the side of the spout, but it does not affect the display or use of the cup. Marked on the bottom with the famous Heath logo.
