Heath Ceramics Cup/Saucer
Tagged with: california potteryceramicscupheath ceramics

Unusual dark olive green speckled cup and saucer from Heath Ceramics. They look to be from the standard Coupe line from Heath, but we’re uncertain what this color was called. We do believe it to be vintage, probably from the 60s or 70s. This cup and saucer is from the well known California company originally started by Edith Heath that has produced ceramics for over 60 years. More information on the Potteries of California website.

The color is a darker olive green with dark grey or black speckling. In good vintage condition with no major damage. There is a small fleabite area on the rim of the cup (hard to see, but shown in the 4th photo). Bottom of cup seems to have chips, but we believe they occurred in manufacturing when the cup was stuck to the surface in the kiln. Saucer has a light scratch to the top surface and a bit of wear. None of the wear affects the display or usage of the cup and saucer. Marked on the bottom with the famous Heath logo – this logo looks a bit different to us than the usual one.

Cup measures about 3.5″ in diameter and 2″ tall. Saucer measures about 6″ in diameter.
