Great brown and orange cereal or fruit bowl from Heath Ceramics. We believe this to be a vintage bowl in the Coupe line (designed in the 1940s) with an unusual speckled pumpkin orange color on the inside. But it’s difficult to tell with Heath because they still make this same shape today. We did see a similar color called “Persimmon” in the current catalog, but we aren’t sure if this is the same color. In any case, a single bowl like this is over $20 if you get it new.
Heath Ceramics is a well known California company originally started by Edith Heath that has produced ceramics for over 60 years. More information on the Potteries of California website.
Bowl measures about 5.5″ in diameter and is about 1.75″ tall. In great condition, with no damage that we can see. There is what looks like a tiny fleabite on the rim, but it is glazed over – it likely happened during manufacturing. Marked on the bottom with the famous Heath logo.
