Three great brown and orange bowls or ramekins from Heath Ceramics. We’re uncertain what line this cup is from, but believe it could be from the Coupe line (designed in the 1940s). They have an unusual speckled pumpkin orange color on the inside and a brown speckled exterior – we’ve seen this referred to as “Persimmon” before, but are unsure if that’s the actual glaze name.
This is from the well known California company originally started by Edith Heath that has produced ceramics for over 60 years. More information on the Potteries of California website.
We think that these might have been intended as individual casseroles, because the bowls seem to have a rim where a cover would sit. In any case, without the covers we still think they’d make great cereal or dessert bowls.
Marked on the bottom with the famous Heath logo. Bowls are about 5″ in diameter and 2.5″ high. In excellent condition with no damage that we can see.
