Lovely little cup and tray from Heath Ceramics. These are actually separate items from Heath’s Plaza line, but they looked so nice together that we decided to bundle them. They’re from the well known California company originally started by Edith Heath that has produced ceramics for over 60 years. More information on the Potteries of California website.
The handleless cup could be used for tea or sake, and the little square tray is likely a condiment saucer but functions quite nicely as a saucer. Both are matte brown in color, with the cup having a birch colored interior.
Cup measures about 2 1/2″ tall and 2 3/4″ wide. Condiment tray is 4″ square. These are both newer items, in fact the tray still has the original sticker on the back. However, they look wonderful in any vintage or modern setting – and we might add that buying these both new at the Heath store will set you back over 25 dollars.
In near perfect, unused condition with no damage that we can see. Marked on the bottom with the famous Heath logo, along with a paper label on the tray.
