Bing and Grondahl Vase
Tagged with: bing and grondahlceramicsdenmarklisbet munch-petersenscandinaviavase

A wonderful, elegant bottle vase designed by Lisbet Munch-Petersen for Bing & Grondahl. She’s a fairly well known ceramicist who worked at B&G from about 1961-1966. Wonderful form with subtle lines.

In excellent condition with no damage that we can see. Marked on the bottom with the B&G mark, “Kjobenhavn Denmark 753″ and “LM-P” which is Lisbet Munch-Petersen’s mark – the combination of these marks dates the piece to between 1962-1966.

We have usually seen these vases in different colors (oxblood or light blue) – this vase is pure white porcelain in color.

Vase measures about 5″ tall, 1 1/2″ across the mouth and 4 1/2″ at widest point.
