Amazing, modernistic glass bakeware designed by Massimo and Lella Vignelli and produced by Heller beginning in 1975. This was most likely a medium sized covered casserole or roasting pan, but this one we found did not have the lid. However, we have seen these being used separately as serving dishes. We’ve adjusted the price according for the lack of lid.
We believe that this particular example is from the original series produced by Heller – per Design Addict, this design line was actually reproduced later by Glasbake (Jeanette) under the name “Chef’s Choice”. Most of the M&L Vignelli glass casseroles we’ve seen are from that later Jeanette run.
In excellent vintage condition with no major condition issues. Some glass bubbles and manufacturing inclusions here and there, but overall in great shape.
