You may remember that we posted earlier about all the Etsy treasuries we’ve appeared in. Well, since anyone can make treasuries, we decided to give it a shot just for fun.
Here’s the first Etsy treasury we’ve created – it’s called Mid Mod Menagerie. This was actually quite a bit more difficult than we originally thought, because we decided to work on the “constraint” that no particular animal could appear more than once! (Well, i think we did fudge that rule a bit.) We also had a hard time trying to find 16 different sellers, because many of the Etsy folks who specialize in midcentury modern had multiple items we wanted to feature.
We’ve included larger photos below, along with the Etsy store the item can be found in. If you enjoyed this treasury, or were featured in it, please leave a comment!

@lisa – thanks – you have a ton of nice things in your etsy. We’ll have to pop on over every so often to take a look!
@sputnik – can’t wait to see what other goodies you put up in your shop! Have been eyeing your flickr stream for awhile now =)

Yay! I’m glad if the treasury may have helped. You know the funny thing – in the treasury we were featured in right before we created one, we ended up selling our item too! So it’s true that every view can make a difference. That definitely gives me incentive to make some more treasuries…

Each animal is a beautiful example of geometric graphic design. It’s hard to choose a favorite critter!

I have to admit, it took a long time to complile this treasury – but I wouldn’t mind having any of these mod critters in our house!
