An amazing, retro orange-red ball lamp with a hinged gooseneck – perfect for channeling Austin Powers in your mod office or den!
This lamp was made by Windsor and manufactured in Hong Kong, probably in the 1970s. It features a bright and funky plastic ball base and top connected by a two part hinged metal arm. The arm will bend anywhere from perfectly straight up, to retracting down so that the ball top of the lamp rests on the base – see the photos, looks kind of like two tomatoes!
The lamp has been tested and works perfectly. It features a “Hi-Lo” intensity switch on the base, and has a standard two prong 120V electrical cord. In great vintage condition with a few minor scratches to the plastic but otherwise in excellent shape. The hinged arm seems slightly crooked, but we think it may have been manufactured this way. This would be a great accent piece for a retro 70s office.
Marked on the bottom with a sticker that reads “Windsor – High Intensity Lamps – Model L-35 – Made in Hong Kong”. Measures about 4 1/2 inches wide at the base, 3 1/2 inches across the ball head of the lamp, and up to 14 inches tall when fully extended.
