Lovely, festive glass candleholder wreath made by the Swedish company Nybro. We’re uncertain of the age of this piece, but believe it’s probably an 80s production. Nybro is known for making glassware figural paperweights, though they also made wooden trays and non-glass figurines.
The candleholder is actually a wreath design with 4 receptacles that’s meant to lie flat on the table. There’s also a “track” running around the wreath where a ribbon can be tied – we believe the ribbon on ours may be the original, but it could be easily switched out for another color. Would be great for a centerpiece for a holiday table spread.
In excellent vintage condition with no damage that we can see. Has the original sticker reading “Nybro Sweden”. Measures about 6 1/2 inches in diameter.
