An eclectic orange enamel dish with an abstract pattern of red and yellow “jewels” sprinkled throughout. We aren’t sure of the maker on this one, but believe it may actually be an unknown enamelist. It has some of the same characteristics of Annemarie Davidson or Bovano.
Backside is unglazed copper and is marked with “Boone Paul” – possibly the maker’s name, though we haven’t been able to find any information on him. We’d be interested to hear if anyone has information on who may have made this piece. There is an addition paper label that reads “Hand crafted moulten glass fired to hand spun copper.” There is also another sticker on it, but we aren’t sure if that’s the original price of the dish, or if that was placed later on.
Enamel dish measures about 7 inches in diameter and 3/4 inches tall. In good condition with a few minor scratches on the inside of the enamel and some wear and tarnish on the copper reverse.
