Really cool owl cookie jar or canister, made by Pottery Craft, probably in the 1970s. I believe these came in sets of different sizes. Has a great vintage look to it, with the incised feather pattern and large eyes highlighted with white glaze. Base glaze is a standard beige color used comonly by Pottery Craft.

Bottom is unmarked. Lid is marked on reverse with “P/C USA #823″ and side of jar is marked with “Pottery Craft USA”. Measures 5.5″ tall, 5.5″ in diameter on bottom, and 4″ wide at mouth of jar.

No noticeable cracks or chips on this great cookie jar. Lid has a blemish on underside that occurred during manufacturing – it’s not a chip.
