Abraham Cohn Bowl


A striking and beautiful 6 3/4" wide studio pottery bowl by well-known Wisconsin pottery Abraham (Abe) Cohn. He produced out of Milwaukee and Fish Creek in Door County, and was influential in the area. This wonderful shallow bowl has a modern shape that tapers to a foot at bottom, with a partially dipped and dripped glaze in brown and steel gray blue with "cheetah" design spots. Base glaze is heavy white almost lava-like matte texture. Marked on bottom with COHN stamp.

In good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips

Measures about 6 3/4" wide and 2 3/8" tall.
