Arabia Richard Lindh Planter

Wonderful matte black Arabia of Finland planter and saucer combination designed by Richard Lindh. These minimalist planters were made around 1965 and are most commonly found in this dark charcoal color or in white. Very much in the style of some of the California Pottery planters, including Gainey Ceramics and Architectural Pottery, and would fit in nicely with vintage wares from either of those companies. Planter is marked on bottom with the Arabia crown mark and "Arabia Wartsila Finland 11-72". The saucer is not marked.

In good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips, but with some water deposit stains from usage on both on the interior of the planter and the saucer. Actually, this was pre-owned and used - by us! We had a cactus in it for awhile, but it outgrew the pot.

Made in several different sizes, this one measures about 4 1/2 inches tall and 5 1/4 inches in diameter. Planter without saucer is 4 inches tall.
