Cathrineholm Enamel Plate

A striking enamel decorative plate or low bowl by Cathrineholm and designed by Grete Prytz Kittelsen. We've seen this treatment around a few times, but we're not entirely sure of the pattern name. It consists of what looks like delicate feathery brushstrokes inside the enamel. We've seen it called Cathedral by a few people, but believe that isn't this pattern but a related one that looks similar.

This particular one is a 7 1/2" plate in a beautiful navy metallic blue. The backstamp reads "Made with Crucible Stainless Steel, Cathrineholm Norway".

No major cracks or damage to the enamel, but the back which is plain steel has quite a few scratches to the surface. Inner surface of bowl has a few nicks and scratches, and one slightly deeper one about one inch or so long.

Measures about 7 1/2 inches wide.
