A pair of lovely freeform studio pottery tea bowls with orange brown shiny glaze with drip markings, attributed to Hiroshi Ogawa of Oregon. Originally started making pottery in Santa Barbara, studied in Japan and later had a studio in Carmel Valley in the 1970s before settling in Oregon. These great looking forms with ridge in the middle and wavy rim seem to be his specialty, and believe most of his work is wood-fired. Signed on bottom of each with "H. Ogawa" in script.
In good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. Some dirt and wear to interior from use.
Measures about 2" tall, 3 3/8" wide each.
