Lovely modern ceramic snack server designed by La Gardo Tackett for Schmid. Made in Japan, likely in the 1960s. Includes a biomorphic server with cutout hole and handle on top, along with four small serving dishes with handle that echoes the one on the server. Speckled light beige ceramic construction, also some small blue dots here and there. Believe this also came with a spoon which is missing. However, these are very popular for display as mid century modern objects. Unmarked on the bottom, these usually had stickers.
In good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. Some glaze streaks, pops and ceramic aberrations here and there from manufacturing. Some blue dots here and there, but that appears to be part of the glaze.
Server measures about 7 inches tall, 5 inches wide. Dishes are about 1 3/4 inches tall, 3 1/2 inches wide.
