Great looking abstract modern serigraph print by noted Japanese artist Noboru Tsurutani (1940-2007). Not much information on the artist online, but many exhibits of his work have been shown and his art is in museums and collections around the world. Very heavy ink (some portions are a bit raised in relief) used to print this wonderful piece, which features intersecting geometric shapes of different colors. Signed in pencil with "Noboru Tsurutani 1967 30/30". Also marked on the back of piece with the title of "Work No. 5". Would look great in a collection of abstract art.
In good vintage condition, with no damage to the print. Frame is removed. We have decided to keep the mat with the print in case it is desired, since it is good quality. It may be removed easily - we have taken off the old tape and replaced it with archival hinging tape.
Paper and mat measures about 30 by 26 inches. The viewable are is about 25 by 21 inches. Will be shipped flat between cardboard.
