A fantastic, spherical ceramic "rock vase" by artist / sculptor Tom McMillin. He graduated from USC with an MFA in Ceramics, taught at Cal State Northridge, and has exhibited in many different museums across the country. This delightful pottery form is a hand crafted, round (but made slightly off-centered) vase with five different sizes hole cutouts at top, and 3 small raised feet on bottom. The surface on this particular one has been incised or combed with intersecting lines. Glaze is a beautiful, orange-brown color. Would look great paired with other mid century objects. Unmarked on the bottom as far as we can see.
In good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. Some light wear to the bottom of the feet and the felt pads. Some dust and dirt to the interior.
Measures about 5 inches tall and 6 inches at widest.
