Nice looking, architectural style planter pot likely from US Pottery of Paramount. White matte glaze on a ribbed cylinder form, sort of in the style of Gainey Ceramics or Architectural Pottery but we think this is Paramount because there is a pre-drilled hole that is glazed over. Would look great in a mid century modern setting, or use it for plants outdoors as well. Unmarked on the bottom as far as we can tell.
In good vintage condition, with no damage or chips. Some light scuffs here and there, some wear and dirt to interior. Light crazing mostly toward the top portion. There is a small firing crack to interior where the clay shrunk or was pulled on the bottom.
Measures about 8 3/4" wide and 7 1/8" tall. Very heavy - will weigh over 10 pounds when boxed.
