A fabulous, hard to find set of three (3) studio pottery modern stoneware vases by renowned potter Victoria Littlejohn. These are brutalist pumpkin shaped forms with 12 deep ridges or fins going around the sides, small opening at top. Heavily mottled / speckled with brown, yellow-beige and black on rough stoneware.
These would look great displayed with other mid century stoneware pieces or just on there own - they've been in our collection for almost 10 years and we haven't seen many like them. Signed on bottom of each with "Littlejohn" in script.
In good vintage condition, with no chips or damage - the exception is the largest vase has two knocks on the top lip along with a hairline crack that runs down about 2 inches or so, not that noticeable though. Lots of glaze pops, green felt remnants on bottom.
Large vase measures about 7 inches tall, 6 inches widest. Medium vase measures about 5 1/2 inches tall, 6 1/2 inches widest. Small vase measures about 3 3/4 inches tall, 5 1/2 inches widest.
