Warren Hullow Moon Vase

A beautiful, moon form weedpot vase with skinny neck by Warren Hullow. The Pennsylvania potter was known for these interesting shapes, often working in conjunction with fellow ceramicist Isabel Parks at Hickory Grove Pottery. This form is a sensual white disc shape with skinny neck and flared rim, steel blue abstract center moon shape with a very light blue enclosing glaze circle. Signed on the bottom with "Hullow".

In good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. Felt pad remnant at bottom. As his work is all done by hand, there are aberrations in the glaze and shape - on this one the neck is off-center a bit.

Measures about 6" tall, 5 1/4" by 3" wide, 1 1/2" wide at top.
