Well, we’re not certain how it happened, but this kooky little fellow followed us home the other day…
Made in Italy, this whimsical figural bird bowl has a textured type of finish, with lines incised by hand directly into the surface. Interior of bowl is lime green and exterior is orange with blue, white and black accents.
While we’ve seen this dish referred to as some sort of Raymor item, we don’t believe that this is the case. As far as we know, he’s vintage – but we would love it if anyone has any additional info on the origins of our strange feathered friend. For now, we can just say that we hope he’ll make someone happy.
In good vintage condition with just tiny nick to the tip of the bill and a few to crest on the top of the head. No other chips or cracks, but a hint of crazing to the outside body. Marked on the bottom with a handwritten “Italy”.
Measures about 6.5″ long, 7″ tall and 3.25″ wide.
