Realistic AM Radio
- $28.00
Tagged with: electronics • radio • tandyA nifty desktop AM Radio made by Realistic (trade name for Radio Shack / Tandy). Apparently, these were made in Hong Kong in the 70s and 80s. Nice faux wood grain finish on plastic cabinet with an old style tuner dial. A single volume knob controls loudness and the cord plugs into a standard AC outlet.
This is model number 12-679 with frequency range AM 520-1620 KHz. Tested and works fine, though speaker crackles a little. Body is in good shape with a few dings to the top edge. Measure about 9 inches long by 2 3/4 inches wide and is 4 3/8 inches tall. Perfect little desktop companion for your retro office.
