Holy retro appliances, Batman – these are electric scissors! These old school, two-speed snippers from Sears probably date from the late 60s to early 70s. White plastic housing with green metal plate on the front, with a small light bulb in the front so you can see what you’re cutting. Will cut through paper, cardstock and fabric – and likely nearly anything it can get its blades on. Has a “Hi” and “Lo” speed trigger, although we didn’t really notice too much difference between them. When you turn it on, it makes quite a racket, but it sure cuts up a storm.
In excellent working condition, with no discernable damage to the housing. Stainless steel blades are still sharp after all these years. We’ve taken this apart and cleaned it once – amazing how these older appliances are so simple on the inside.
Scissors measure about 7 inches long. Ok, so it’s not cordless, but it does have an extra long 10 foot cord for convenient snipping.
