Our shipping rates are pre-calculated by size AND weight. This is due to the fact that we will always attempt to ship in a Flat Rate Priority Box, which will result in rates that vary slightly. For example, a very light, but bulky item will sometimes have a slightly higher rate.

If you feel that the calculated shipping charge at checkout is seriously off, please contact us BEFORE ordering and we’ll be happy to work out shipping separately through email.

United States

All packages within the United States are shipped USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation and insurance included, unless otherwise specified. On occasion, we may choose a different shipping method (such as 1st class) or shipper (such as UPS) if it is cheaper or more convenient. In that case, we’ll let you know by email, and you’ll be refunded the difference in shipping cost.

Orders are usually shipped within 2-3 business days. If there will be a serious delay with shipping, we will let you know beforehand. We are not responsible for any shipping delays due to the carrier. Where possible, USPS Delivery Confirmation service will be included. Please remember, this is not an actual tracking number – it just shows when the label was printed and when an item was delivered to its final destination.

If you would like to work out a different shipping method, we would be happy to accommodate you. However, please let us know first, BEFORE placing your order.

Other Countries

PLEASE NOTE: Currently, if you are in any country other than the United States we will need you to contact us first for a shipping quote BEFORE you order.

Sorry, no exceptions to this rule – this includes any U.S. Territories, AFO/PFO, Canada, Mexico, Great Britain, etc. Hopefully, in the future we’ll be able to offer a better alternative for international shipping. Thanks for being patient.

Other Shipping Information

We are very careful with our packaging. However, we realize that occasionally an item may be damaged in shipping transit. This is why insurance is required and included on all items. Please see the FAQ for more information on insurance and returns.

Please make sure to provide the correct address during your purchase. Once an order has shipped, we will not be able to change the address until delivery is attempted and returned by USPS. If you find that you’ve given the wrong address, please let us know immediately, since we may not have shipped your package yet.

In all cases, original shipping charges are non-refundable. This includes packages that are refused and shipped back to us. If re-shipment is required, additional charges will be incurred.

We are non-smokers. However, because many of our items are purchased from estate sales and auctions, we can’t guarantee that the previous owners were not smokers. The same goes for pet hair / dander. We do have one cat – please let us know if you are allergic and we will try be extra careful with your item.
