A beautiful lucite heron bird in flight sculpture, designed by Abraham Palatnik from Brazil. Striking op-art striped design in black on clear lucite with a slight golden tinge, likely 1960s-70s production. This is the larger size of the heron in flight at nine inches tall at the top wing, signed in the lucite with "Pal" and with original "Made in Brasil" black sticker on bottom.

In good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. A small amount of wear, a few light scratches or scuffs. Some pops and lines from manufacturing. Some wear and scratching on the bottom of the base.

Measures about 9 inches tall and 10 1/2 inches long.
