Annemarie Davidson Enamel Plate

Fantastic Annemarie Davidson orange and gold enamel jewel dish. Davidson produced enamel plates and giftware in Sierra Madre, CA from the 1950s up until recently. She also appeared in the celebrated exhibition Painting with Fire: Masters of Enameling in America, 1930-1980.

Lovely enamel dish has a pattern with gold and orange lines radiating from the “jewels” in the center of the dish, one of the more highly sought after Davidson designs. Mid century modern collectors love these dishes. Original gold sticker, which has partially peeled off, reads “Annemarie Davidson handcrafted enamels Sierra Madre, California”. Also has her conjoined “AD” mark under the enamel.

In good vintage condition. There is one impact knock to the middle that has resulted in a bit of crazing within the glass, but it's difficult to notice with all the lines in the center (we've tried to show this in the 4th photo). Please excuse the photo reflections.

Measures about 7 1/2" in diameter.
