Fantastic Bitossi Italian pottery horse sculpture designed by Aldo Londi. Unusual colorway with shiny yellow glazed saddle, mane and tail, and the rest of the body thinly glazed a light gray color. Have only seen this glaze combination on a horse once or twice before. This is one of the smaller sized horses at about 10 1/2" tall. Would be a great addition for the advanced Bitossi collector. Unmarked on bottom as far as can tell.

In good vintage condition with no cracks or chips. As these are hand formed and finished pieces there are seams, bumps, holes and glaze oddities. Some light wear around the foot areas, maybe a few small flakes. A piece of clay slag is rattling on the interior

About 10 1/2" at tallest, 10" long, and 4 1/4" wide.
