Lovely vintage Chinese oxblood glaze small tall neck vase. Deep red burgundy flambe "sang de boeuf glaze with subtle streaks of purple-blue near bottom, and trending toward gray near the top. This vase is from Jingdezhen, often known as the "Porcelain Capital" of China. This particular example is believed to have been produced from the 1950-70 range, according to what we've seen from the stamps online. Marked on bottom with distinctive six-character blue chop mark stamp.
In good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. Some crazing throughout the piece. Some pops to glaze here and there.
Vase measures about 5 1/2" tall, 1 3/8" wide at top, 4 1/4" widest.
