An amazing studio pottery stoneware vase pot made by Hiroshi Nakayama and Judy Glasser. They have works in museums and galleries around the world. Spectacular ochre yellow drip glaze on a rounded orb form with lip opening, and brown and gray base glaze color. Believe they often used wood ash glazes for their pots. Would look really nice displayed with other mid century or modern pottery. Marked on the side near base with the impressed chopmark from Nakayama and Glasser.

In good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. Some manufacturing pockmarks, glaze bubbles and pops.

Measures about 6" widest, 5" tall, opening is about 2 1/4".
