A beautiful, modern Howard Pierce Porcelain figurine featuring stylized rendition of a mother and child holding hands. This Pierce item is one of the gold leaf pieces, which was accomplished by rubbing gold leaf over the item by hand, a truly time consuming process. Unmarked, but definitely from Howard Pierce - this one is shown in the Darlene Dommel book on pg 78.

In good condition with no chips, cracks or damage. Some scuffs and wear to the gold leaf, and at least two spots on each of the heads where a bit has come off and the white porcelain - see the 4th and 5th photos. This one is actually not that bad, compared to some of the other gold leaf Pierce items we've had.

Measures about 10.25" tall, and 3" by 2" at the base.
