Beautiful modern Hyalyn Pottery dual candleholder centerpiece bowl in a smooth satin matte white glaze. This is marked Hyalyn, but other than that, there isn't much information on who might have designed this midcentury modern bowl. Some of the names that have been suggested are Michael Lax and Georges Briard, but we aren't sure if either of them had anything to do with the design
In great condition, looks nearly new. The bottom foot has two flaws. The first is a tiny chip about 1/4 inch long. The second is what appears to be a tiny firing crack that occurred during manufacturing. Neither detracts from the bowl while sitting normally.
Measures about a foot long and two inches tall.
