Great vintage cabinet radio from Sony. These were all the rage, back in the day. This is model number ICF-9740W, a standard FM/AM radio, likely made in the late 1970s to early 1980s. We remember that our parents had these types of radios in their rooms - this is definitely before the Walkman!

Radio is wood, plastic and metal and features a great simulated woodgrain finish like that used on many appliances in the 70s. It has standard tuning, tone and volume knobs, as well as a band select and loudness switch.

In excellent, near mint condition with no major damage that we can see. Perhaps a little wear or fading on the AM/FM select and loudness switches, but otherwise in amazing condition. Has been tested and seems to be in perfect working order - we did have a bit of a hard time getting stations in, but that might be remedied with the addition of an antenna.

Measures 13 inches long, 9 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches wide.
