A great looking modern monochrome black and white etching by the Irish artist John McNulty. McNulty was born in Dublin and this type of landscape, along with sea and nautical themes, is typical of his work. He's had exhibitions around the world, and his etchings have even appeared in some major films. Many of the other pieces we've seen from him have been aquatint etchings with color - but the monochrome on this piece works well with the moon above the waterfall. Etching is framed with black and gold wood and metal frame, front is matte glass. Back is open, with cardboard held in by staples. Framing company stamp on back. Signed in pencil as "John McNulty 80" and titled and numbered with "40/95 Waterfall".

In good vintage condition with no damage to the print itself. Some dirt and debris has fallen on inside of frame but is mostly near bottom. Frame has wear to the paint and some scuffing. Back is cardboard and held in by staples - would probably recommend it be re-framed at some point.

Measures about 23 by 16 inches wide framed, printed area is about 14 1/2 by 9 inches.
