Great looking pair of fish and leaf decorated shallow freeform bowls, made in the style of La Gardo Tackett pieces and dated 1954. I don't think these are Tackett pieces, but the style is reminiscient. Would definitely fit right in displayed with like-minded mid century modern ceramics. Pink, black, yellow glaze on reddish-orange clay. Reverse side of both is dated 4 - 9 - 1954, so they are definitely older vintage pieces.

In good vintage condition, with no cracks. Both dishes have crazing throughout, and a bit of chipping to underside edges. Leaf dish has a bigger area of chipping on bottom edge.

Measures about 7 3/8" by 6 1/4" and 5 3/4" by 5" wide.
