A wonderful, small Marcello Fantoni signed multicolor lava glaze bowl. Beautiful red, yellow and green heavily bubbled textured glaze over hand formed pottery. This is one of the better decorative glazes we've had on Fantoni pieces - haven't seen one with this exact vibrant glaze treatment. Signed on the bottom in white with mark, Fantoni signature, and "Italy".

In good vintage condition, with no cracks or damage - the exception are 2 flake chips to rim. See the photos, does not really detract from display. Lava glaze contains numerous popped bubbles, some crackling or crazing in the center of bowl.
