Great looking, risque Italian pottery canister or jar with the word "Opium" on the front. Mottled yellow glaze with white and orange accents. We've seen these "vice" type jars attributed Raymor and various other companies. Believe these usually had a lid, although we've seen some with cork stoppers. Would be a funny gag gift for that friend who has everything already. Marked on bottom with Italy 419622.

In good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. No lid as mentioned. Popped bubbles in glaze on rim. Base wobbles a bit because of extra clay on bottom.

Measures about 5" tall, 3 7/8" wide at top.
